Many hands make light work, or so we are told.
But what of one set of hands that make many works?
Works of beauty and perfection, that rival the tales of Athena and Arachne spinning at their looms...
Works that are created with the utmost care, speed and precision, from the first threads to the final glittering embellishments.
Works that could cover the commonest of men, or that could clothe the most noble of kings in grandeur and glory.
Hard pressed would ye be to find one of such skill, for surely there would have to be a fine mind to guide those hands... Learned and willing to pass on such knowledge... Gracious to all, and believing strongly that duty, humility, and honor best serve this Society.
And for such works to be created, all of these skills, all of these feelings, all of this artistry, would have to be as easy and as natural as breathing is to you or I.
If the legends of the Fates are true, and They weave our lives from the cradle to the grave with our very breath, then surely They must look upon Lady Cecile de Bretigny and smile.
For whilst Their work is not yet complete, and long may we expect this skilled pair of hands and this keen intellect to continue creating, teaching and serving, They can look upon this good lady and see the worth of what They have woven and recognize in her a kindred spirit.
